White BlackBerry and new playbook for everyone soon
Now White will be the name for BlackBerry products as company is soon going to launch its OS 7 handsets in white colour also; BlackBerry also announced three new handsets.
BlackBerry lovers who were looking at a new colour option for their Berry will be happy on knowing that all the BlackBerry’s handsets with OS 7 will be now available in white colour too. The Canadian handset maker is planning to come out with Curve, Bold 9900 and Storm 9810, which are based on OS 7 will also be available in White colour across the country starting December.
Apart from this, Research In Motion today announced the launch of three new BlackBerry 7 OS smartphones in India. The BlackBerry Bold 9790 combines the BlackBerry keyboard with a high resolution touch display. The BlackBerry Curve 9350 is the first OS7 device for the CDMA users to be launched in India and Curve 9380 is the all touch display phone from BlackBerry.
“These new BlackBerry Bold and BlackBerry Curve smartphones offer compact designs with faster performance, enhanced browsing and richer multimedia, as well as NFC support,” said Krishnadeep Baruah, director of marketing for India at Research In Motion.
All the newly launched BlackBerry handsets are expected to available nationwide from December 2011.
The company also disclosed that they will soon be launching the Playbook in the market, which would have features like the native e-mail client. However, no details were given out in regards to when this device will be launched in India.
