Intel Core 3 processor to be available on tablets

“The tech giant has said that it would introduce its Core 3 processor for tablets in the country, which is currently running on PCs”
After getting a strong hold in products such as desktops and laptops, Intel has said that it would introduce its Core 3 processor for tablets in the country. The processor is currently running on PCs. On the sidelines of the 7th ASSOCHAM Global Telecom Summit, 2011, R Sivakumar, managing director - sales and marketing, said, “The next new wave of technology that you will see from Intel is a range of tablets being launched on Intel Core i3 processors.”
In this age of convergence when people prefer devices which are compact and easily portable, tablets are certainly going to eat into the business of laptops in a big way.The company had also announced the launch of its Sandy Bridge micro-processor during CES 2011 in January, and it was simultaneously announced in India, which is expected to be out in the consumer market soon. The processor is built for higher speed and supreme graphic experience while watching videos or playing games.
