RIM has launched thinnest BlackBerry devices till date

RIMs-BlackBerry-Bold-9900-and-9930-are-now-official    “RIM BlackBerry Bold 9900 and 9930 unveiled along with a brand new OS”

If you are one of those who are in love with your BlackBerry but when you look around at all the Android and iOS device, can't help wish that even BlackBerries were a little faster. And think that a bit of touch functionality along with the QWERTY will not harm anyone.
Well, if that’s the case then you are in luck. Research In Motion (RIM) has today at BlackBerry World announced two new devices – RIM BlackBerry Bold 9900 and RIM BlackBerry Bold 9930.
Both these devices are the slimmest BlackBerry devices till date. BlackBerry Bold 9900 and 9930 also offer full touch along with QWERTY. Other key features include 1.2GHz Qualcomm processors, 8GB of storage, 5 megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
Another interesting addition is that both of these mobile handsets have built-in NFC.
RIM has also announced a brand new operating system – BlackBerry OS 7. The company is claiming that the new OS is faster and easier-to-use and comes with an integrated, voice-enabled Universal Search system.
Though BlackBerry Bold 9900 and BlackBerry Bold 9300 will be running on this new OS but this OS may not be available for the older devices.
In the recent past, we had seen BlackBerry devices were losing sheen in European in American market due to the growing competition from Google Android devices and Apple iPhone. The market response to these new devices along with the recently launched BlackBerry PlayBook will be critical in determining whether BlackBerry is able to strike back at its arch rivals or will it have to struggle harder to stay in the game.
